Durability makes a basic difference between aluminium and wooden rail. When a rail is made of wood, its systematic maintenance is necessary to extend its durability, which in comparison to an aluminium product is much shorter.
In case of a rail made of powder-varnished aluminium profile, there is no need to provide any maintenance as we have been using high-quality paints which is evidenced by a Qualicold certificate . High abrasion resistance, total resistance to high and low temperatures and UV radiation make merely some of the advantages of our products. The colour itself remains intense at all times and we do not have to bother with its annual renovation. Standard solution includes installation of RAL-coloured rails vertically or horizontally (in matt or gloss). For those who prefer natural finishes, powder-coated wood-structured rails – which imitate wood – are available. Wood-structure lacquering enables matching rails with colours of windows, soffit or façade. Our rails are becoming popular and more and more often used to replace filling of balconies and fences, where wooden rails have failed and over time have been destroyed or their maintenance was too burdensome.
